Solar+ Projects Tackling Today’s Decarbonization Goals

The solar system was cited on a hunting ground that had recently been logged for timber purposes. DSUN safely navigated a stream crossing and other land management considerations working closely with the NY State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Spanning 125 acres, this project serves Cornell University’s sustainability goals.

The solar system combines clean, on-site power with architectural-grade, shaded parking and green power savings, generating more than 1.2 gigawatt hours of electric power per year, and more than 40 gigawatt hours over its lifetime.

This project is one of the larger distributed generation clusters in upstate New York at 24 MW DC.

The solar canopies on the iconic Bloomberg Center and Tata Innovation Center academic buildings balance clean energy with aesthetic design and showcase Cornell’s commitment to decarbonization and sustainability in design and curriculum.

DSUN co-developed this utility-scale project for NV Energy.

The university’s first large-scale solar project— an accomplishment equal to reducing annual greenhouse gas emissions from 347 passenger vehicles, or offsetting CO2 emissions from electricity use from 277 homes for one year.

The solar system installation is part of an effort at US Foods to increase its sustainability and improve the efficiency of its buildings through solar.

The solar system combines clean, on-site power with green power savings, generating nearly 60 megawatt hours of electric power per year, and over 2 gigawatt hours over its lifetime.
