SUNXIII LLC, an affiliate of Distributed Sun LLC, has proposed a 5 MW-ac community solar farm on Piney Hill Road, east of the intersection with Ocean Gateway in Trappe, Maryland (District 03, Account Number 119947 in Talbot County).
The Public Service Commission of Maryland ("Commission") docketed the Application as Case No. 9898 and delegated the matter to the Public Utility Law Judge ("PULJ") Division. On September 30, 2026, a Notice of Completeness Determination was issued pursuant to the Code of Maryland Regulations ("COMAR") 20.79.01.10C, stating that the Application was complete and the PULJ Division would proceed to review the Application.
The PULJ will virtually host a Pre-Hearing Conference on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET on its YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/@mdpscpuljs327. Preliminary matters and the establishment of a procedural schedule will be discussed.
Petitions to intervene must be filed on or before Thursday, October 22, 2026, and may be filed electronically through the Commission's website at https://psc.maryland.gov or sent by first-class mail to the Commission's Executive Secretary, Andrew S.
