Owned and maintained by Distributed Sun’s Solar Energy Investment Company (SEIC), sunTHREE, the 430 kilowatt PV rooftop array at US Foods’ Albuquerque facility will save the company money compared to what it’s currently paying under its contract with its utility. The project was installed by Distributed Sun under a 20-year solar lease and is part of US Foods’ overall sustainability efforts—this includes installing more efficient lighting and improving vehicle fleet efficiency.
